Trendy and fashionable plus a hint of DIY surrounds the beaded bracelet. Did you make it yourself? Did you buy it on your travels? Did you find it at a craft market? Where ever you found your bracelet, it will always be special for you. A BFF gave it to you, you made it at school, your parents helped you purchase it, the list goes on. What it all comes down to is the fact that a beaded bracelet is truly a piece of art and a piece of your heart.

The best bracelets, by far are the ones you craft yourself! They can contain those special beads you bought at a beads only store, That bracelet could also contain shells (you drilled your own holes), charms, and weaving. There is no doubt, if you crafted it, it will always be special. I still have one my daughter made for me when she was in elementary school a decade or more ago.

What to Make

Before you begin you are going to need a needle, a strong thread, and beads! You can actually buy some seed beads at your local dollar store as a starter. Never hurts to save money when you are first starting out. I started with wooden beads and elastic thread to make a gorgeous bracelet similar to this:
