So Many Ideas and So Little Time!!! 100 Day Challenge

As the new year began, I was determined to focus on only a couple of projects. In actuality, it was a great idea as it would enable me to concentrate on one thing at a time. I hate to admit that only a couple of projects has expanded into something that has reached at least 6 (at the writing of this blog).

Ideas as so easy to find, especially when you have your eyes open to the world. Every place I look, there is a pattern I want to create, a season or holiday I want to make patterns for, and new, way out of my expertise range of things I would absolutely love to do!!!

Let me explain a bit. Today I posted a glass blowing video into our Copious Crafts group on Facebook and was thinking how I would love to make something like this. In reality, this would not be unrealistic given I have no experience and I have several other "new" crafts to make.

Yet.... maybe another time.

Am I the only one that gets excited about things to make? My next project is to put together some card kits (electronically delivered) over the next month. I have to really challenge myself to focus on just the design work before I can put a great kit together.

At the same time, I have designed my Valentine's collection of apparel and accessories. That was a whirlwind of activity and now that is done, I am ready to start on St. Patrick's Day soon followed by Mother's Day.

Guess what? That is only the tip of the iceberg!!! Oh, what fun!

Well, now for the crux of this post. I am putting on a challenge to create something new each day! That means a design applied to surfaces (apparel, accessories or home design items). The plan is to do this for 100 days.

You read it right! 100 days of making something new each day.

Why 100? Well, it takes 21 days to change your habits, 90 days to have your new habit take hold, and 100 days to make sure you are solid with your craft.

So 100 days it is!

If you want to join me, add yourself to my mailing list so I can keep you in the loop.
