Directions
Fill the sock just before the heel.
Tie the top off with a rubber band, and tie a ribbon around the center to separate the body from the head.

Spray the colored egg part gold. Wait 24 hours to dry properly.
Insert a bit of wet dirt into the bottom of the egg filling about 1/3.

Pipe cleaners of various colors
Mini pom poms of various colors and sizes (you can substitute cotton balls sometimes)
Googly eyes
Hot glue gun
Wire cutters
Directions
take the pipe cleaner and wrap it around your finger. I like to do it rather tightly, because once it is off of your finger, it is easier to stretch it out than it is to tighten it up.
gluing the head onto the pipe cleaner body, stick a dab of glue onto both wire ends on one of the bent pipe cleaner ears. Stick them firmly into the pom pom while squeezing the ends together
