DIY Swirly Paper Flowers

  Found This At Instructables   Materials Colored paper, Customized colored paper, Scissor, Glue. Directions You can use single colored (usual craft paper) papers for making these flowers but I liked using the customized colored papers for making them. You can paint the papers with the colors of your choice and create beautiful shades to make the flowers look prettier.First, you have to cut the colored paper into strips of at least 2 inches width and length of your choice, I kept the paper strips 2 X 8 inches. Envelope Sachets

  Found This At Martha Stewart   Materials Heart And Butterfly Templates Graph paper (optional) Cutting mat Piece of felt T-pin (available at crafts stores) Glue stick Directions Use our heart or butterfly templates, or make your own pattern. Graph paper is good for creating a grid design (such as the one shown at top left). Working on a cutting mat or piece of felt, lay your template over an envelope. With a T-pin, punch holes through the template and envelope until the dotted design is complete. Find More Here

Springing into Action

Every day brings a new challenge when it comes to crafting. It always seems we need more tools and more consumables in order to complete anything. Today I decided I wanted a bigger Wacom tablet as the one I have is very small and often cumbersome when designing in Illustrator. As with anything, there is a cost and I am not sure if I am prepared to spend the money to make my life easier!
